Here's what BJJ legends had to say about training with Chris Matakas...
Our programs are divided by age to ensure a cohesive learning environment which best serves our students. Our classes consist of high-level instruction focused on the proper application of techniques, performed in an educational and safe environment.
Our Kid's program serves as a great introductory to Jiu Jitsu. Primarily focused on fitness, discipline and attention, and the basics of grappling, our students enjoy a fun and educational atmosphere in which they, above all things, learn how to learn.
Our Junior program is designed to incorporate a mixture of high-level technique and physical training, focusing on the fundamentals of learning and skill acquisition that can be applied in school and at home. At this age, students are ready to learn the intricacies of grappling along with the moral education of how to apply these lessons in their daily lives.
In a friendly and organized environment, adults from all walks of life come together to pursue their individual goals while enjoying the fellowship of a collective. Whether one's goal is to lose weight, learn how to defend themselves, feel more confident or simply make some new friends, our academy is a safe place in which we diligently practice this art while becoming better versions of ourselves.
